Cross Word Cape Youth Camp 2018 is fast approaching! From the 14 to 19 December, we’re going to be back in beautiful Villiersdorp. This year we’ve got two awesome speakers. Geoff Gertzen is going to be helping us get to grips with the book of Ephesians. And Cameron Shabangu will be leading us on a journey through the book of Ruth.
If this is the first time you’ve heard of Cross Word Camp, then you’re probably wondering what exactly we’re on about: well here is a brief explanation:
Cross Word Camp is an end of year camp for teenagers in high school (grades 8 – 12) and for any grade 7 who is going to high school in 2019. About 300 people attend, and a lot of time is spent around God’s Word (the Bible), getting to grips with what God says to us through it, and how we are to respond. We also spend a lot of time getting to know one another, whether it be playing soccer, board games, touch rugby, or just hanging by the pool.
So… what’s the cost?
Well for an awesome venue, awesome food, incredible teaching, great fellowship for 6 days, 5 nights – you’re getting it at a steal of only R1500 (R400 less than what it really costs!). And if you have a brother or sister coming along, they get R100 off and they only pay R1400! So sell your old roller-blades, wash a couple of cars, do a fundraiser at your church. Do whatever you have to do to come to camp, it’s not to be missed!
I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there!
